(BBC 2 documentary strand, 1969)
Documentaries by film-maker Paul Watson.
A Year in the Life: For the Big Deal Group :
A pop group trying for success in the music industry arrives at the BBC Television Centre in West London, aboard modified and somewhat battered JK9589, a 1947 Bedford OB/Duple new to Jackson, Eastbourne. It's passed by a London Transport AEC Routemaster:
A Year in the Life: For Craghead Colliery:
A Country Durham colliery is threatened with closure. Two Northern General vehicles are seen. 2502 (BCN502C, a 1965 AEC Reliance/Weymann) leads 1754 (GCN54, a 1957 Leyland Tiger Cub/Willowbrook)
We also see this 1964 Bedford SB5/Duple Bella Vega, BNL637B, operating for Atkinson of Prudhoe:
A Year in the Life: For the Curate:
Following the journey from theological college to first year as a curate in Liverpool. Said curate is seen riding his moped and being noisily overtaken by Ribble Leyland Titan PD3/4/Burlingham 1547 (KCK908). I have this noted as part of the BBC 'Timeshift' strand, so believe it probably formed part of season 2 episode 8 'Vicars - Dearly Beloved?' Clarification would be welcomed.
