Programme: Moral Panics - The Agony and the Ecstasy
An essay on British youth culture shown in February 2002 has newsreel and TV news footage of Mods and Rockers fighting at Brighton (possibly also Clacton?): a Southdown round-backed single decker with fleet number and destination display beneath the back window; a Maidstone and District Leyland Atlantean with youths rampaging in front of it on the promenade; an Austin coach of Grey Line (FPM700 or EPN700?) and AXD530B, a Bedford VAL14/Duple Vega Major of Seamarks of Luton - all in the first five minutes!
