Dorothy L Sayers mystery teaming sleuths Lord Peter Wimsey and Harriet Vane, played here by Edward Petherbridge and Harriet Walter. Features preserved London Transport ST922 (GJ2098), a Tilling-bodied AEC Regent new to Thomas Tilling in 1930, now preserved at Cobham Bus Museum: ST922 spent some time working on vintage route 100 in Central London during the 1970s, and although in this 1987 drama it displays route 16, the route 100 boards can still be seen in the side windows. The character being tailed in this sequence steps off the bus and into the Regent cinema.
