The first looks at a new London Transport one person operated bus. London Transport XMS5 (JLA55D), a new AEC Merlin with Strachan body, is shown being demonstrated in Red Arrow livery for route 500.

The second vehicle is LHM999D, a then new AEC Reliance with Duple Commander 36 seat coachwork working for Whytes of Edgware, seen first in the company of a London Transport AEC Routemaster:
