Bob Wingrove (who supplied the screencap for this UK public information film) comments: “The whole idea of the film was to 'persuade' the public to carry on with accepting less so to aid the econonmy of the country. Not much to do with buses but there is a nice shot of a bus driver getting in the cab of STL491.”
STL491 (AYV659) was new in 1934 with a Chiswick-built body, and was based at Chalk Farm garage (CF) at the time of filming.
