The Girl on the Pier

A minor crime movie, but featured in one sequence is this rarity, London Transport SRT80 (FJJ748), which consists of a new (in 1949) Park Royal RT-type body mounted on a 1939 AEC Regent chassis, specifically that of STL2588, whose registration it retained. The SRT class was pressed into service to meet vehicle shortages after World War II ended, but were shortlived. This particular body was transferred to Green Line RT4506 in 1954, and the STL chassis scrapped:
