Episode 1.01: The Bearded Lady
In a scene filmed at Darwen Bus Station, Ian Hardie notes: “As Hetty sits in a cafe a Blackburn green and cream liveried Leyland Atlantean is seen passing in the background.” (It's one of several in this sequence] “Hetty boards a Darwen Coach Services Carlyle-bodied Sherpa D130NON and it drives away on route to Upper Darwen.”

D130NON was new as Manchester Minibuses 130 in 1987.

Also seen at the bus station are another Blackburn Atlantean and a Leyland National 2 (MTL?)

A Stagecoach Leyland Tiger/Duple Laser from the BxxxWRN batch new to Ribble is seen in the Lake District en route to Keswick:

When it arrives at Keswick bus station, there's a Stagecoach Mercedes L608D parked:


Episode 1.02: Eye Witness
A Leyland Atlantean/East Lancs looms out of the darkness - it's revealed as Blackburn 128 (LFR128T) a 1979 AN68A/1R:

Episode 1.06: Safe as Houses
A view of Burnley and Pendle 24 (J24MCW) arriving at a bus station. It's an East Lancs bodied Volvo B10M-50:

The footage suggests 24 is the bus Hetty steps off. This Burnley and Pendle Leyland-National 2 arrives behind it, possibly 45 (XRN45V):

Episode 2.04: The Astral Plane
Night footage of Burnley and Pendle 179 (L179KHG), a 1994 Optare MetroRider with Whizzard local branding, on route 10 to Burnley:


Episode 2.05: A Rose by Any Other Name
Hetty steps off another Burnley and Pendle bus, but filmed at such a low level as to make it unidentifiable - other than to note it's a step entrance bus. I would guess it's a Volvo B10m/East Lancs, such as was used in Episode 1.06.
