Engaging series fronted by Michael Portillo. The clue is in the title, it's about railways not buses, but a goodly number of buses turn up in the background. (thanks to Rob Sissons for his help on these)

Archive footage of a line of London Transport Country Area T-class AEC Regals converted as ambulances. Rob Sissons drew my attention to this scene: “The lead vehicle appears to be T594 (EYK229) which eventually ended up with Chiltern Queens!” This is followed by a quick view of a London Transport STL AEC Regent:
