(1963, British Transport Films)
A 19 minute short looking at the conflict between the running of an efficient bus service and the increasing motor car traffic in Britain’s towns. It opens with two London Transport RTs arriving to take on passengers, RT3913 (LLU712), and RT3177 (KYY906), and a general view of London buses:
This is followed by an East Yorkshire AEC Renown leading an AEC Regent V into Hull bus station, while another Regent V and a Kingston upon Hull decker are also seen outside. Note all three 'deckers have the distinctive 'Beverley Bar' roof to allow them to pass under the Beverley Bar (in the town of Beverley), although that on the Renown is only a slight modification:
Cut to (I think) Eastern National, and two Bristol Lodekkas:
More of East Yorkshire, and footage of a Leyland Tiger Cub/Park Royal, 668 (VKH668), new in 1957, transporting schoolchildren:
East Yorkshire 489 (JAT467), a 1949 Leyland Titan PD1A, passes under the Beverley Bar, showing why its Roe body has been built to 'Beverley Bar' standard:
An East Yorkshire AEC Bridgemaster/Park Royal arrives alongside an AEC Regent V/Roe. East Yorkshire was a major user of Bridgemasters and AEC Renowns:

Highland K98 is seen being loaded with newspapers and parcels at Inverness Bus Station. It's a Guy Arab II, new in 1945 as a London Transport double-decker, but rebuilt in 1954 with a Scottish Omnibuses body:
Alongside it, MacBraynes 155 (KGB266), a Bedford OLAZ/Duple, is also seen being loaded with mail:
K98 pulls out alongside Highland BST917, a 1947 Guy Arab III/Strachan, followed by a MacBraynes Bedford (a VAS1?). Behind are revealed what appears to be a MacBraynes Bedford C5Z1/Duple, and a Highland Guy Arab III/Strachan new in 1951:
At speed we see Highland B1 (KST651), a 1957 AEC Monocoach/Park Royal:
A South Wales AEC Reliance crosses a railway line:

An Eastern National Bristol LD/Eastern Coachworks passes a Bristol KSW:
Western Welsh 1244 (SBO244) shoulders its way through traffic; it's a Park Royal-bodied Leyland Tiger Cub new in 1959:
