A small bus company, Federated Bus Lines, jointly run by Theodora 'Ted' Dawson (Wray) fights against 'wildcatters' trying to put it out of business:
The buses in question are prewar Flxible Clippers, and three separate fleet numbers are seen.

24 is run off the road by a car swerving in front of it and has to be repaired:

22 loses a rear wheel and crashes off the road:

When repaired it swerves to miss a car and ends up crashing into a statue of a cow, killing the driver:
