In an opening scene Ritchie steps off London Transport RT1165 (JXC473), a 1949 Saunders bodied RT blinded for route 44:

Later in the film Hendry sees her onto the same bus, also on route 44:

In 1963 RT1165 was sold by London Transport to H & C of Garston, so it appears it was hired in from that operator for filming - which might explain the slightly crumpled destination blind.
