“Gable and Colbert ride an early 1930s Greyhound Yellow Coach (GM) bus.” (thanks Bruce Korusek). Carlos Wallberg notes the trip is from Miami to New York. The bus they board is liveried as 'Atlantic Greyhound', and carries what appears to be fleet number 204. The bus behind it in the station at Miami carries fleet number 1802. The movie was remade in 1956 as
You Can't Run Away From It.
Colbert looks wonderful, and Gable is suitably handsome.
