To paraphrase Guardian TV critic Nancy Banks-Smith, you would be looking at (and listening to, come to that) Vinny Jones for a long time before you thought of a Manchester United football supporter, but then this American view of Europe mostly misfires anyway. Jones is to be found aboard an ex London Transport AEC Routemaster travelling from London to Paris (Manchester United? That would be Manchester in the North West of England…..). The RM, sadly, has no identifiable registration plate:
