Rob Sissons notes “she and lots of local people are swept off the road and into a river when their bus is carried away in a storm. The bus is a typical American type yellow school bus. Later in the film Dr Jarrow visits the South American country to try to find his wife and he explores the wrecked bus that is still lying in the river.” The bus is a Thomas-bodied GMC B-Series
